The successful flight test of X2 helicopter,making high-speed helicopter configuration of the co-axial rigid rotor with push propeller once again by the industry's widespread concern.Compared with the conventional single-rotor helicopters,this configuration helicopter has higher flight speed,but there is no mature method to calculate its performance and optimize the overall parameters.In this paper,X2 helicopter as a prototype,the development of a set of co-axial rigid tail rotor tail propeller configuration of high-speed helicopter design method parameters,including the following work.(1)The aerodynamic models of co-axial rigid rotor at hovering or low speed forward flight and high speed forward flight states are respectively established by using free wake method and fixed wake method.The propeller aerodynamic model is based on element-momentum theory.The feasibility of the aerodynamic model of the co-axial rigid rotor and the propeller aerodynamic model is verified by appropriate experiment cases of rotor and propeller.(2)The simplified flight dynamics model was established and the main rotor and propeller were trimmed.The aerodynamic performance analysis of ABC rotor based on trim and X2 total power calculation were carried out.Based on the results of aerodynamic interference on the required power The correction was completed and the flight performance modeling and calculation of composite thrust high-speed helicopter was completed.The calculated results verify the excellent aerodynamic characteristics and flight performance of the X2 helicopter.(3)A multi-objective optimization design algorithm based on genetic algorithm is established for the overall parameter design of high-speed helicopters with co-axial rotor plus tail propeller configuration.Using this optimized design algorithm,the overall design parameters of X2 are optimized and the optimized overall parameters are obtained with the purpose of optimizing the performance of hovering and high-speed cruising.The optimized X2 helicopter has a certain degree of performance improvement compared with the original aircraft.
