With the rapid development of aerospace,aimed at the power conversion technology,more and more technical requirements are put forward in power loss,temperature rise design requirement,and the high frequency is the main trend of power conversion module,the transformer is one of the key technologies of power converter.High frequency transformer brings some new problems,such as: the loss caused by distributed capacitance and stray inductance,but traditional design method of transformer has been difficult to meet the design requirements,so use the planar transformer to solve this problem.In order to study the influencing factor of high frequency loss in planar transformer,this paper starting with the mechanism of transformer loss,giving actual equivalent circuit,and solving the Maxwell electromagnetic field equation,analysis and summarize high frequency loss of thin copper in one-dimensional.Study and simulate under different frequencies,the relationship between the thickness or layers or the structural parameters of winding in the transformer and the loss of winding.Combined with the subject demand,focusing on the frequency of 200 kHz,optimization design the thickness or layers or the structural winding,and study the loss,temperature rise,and current distribution in a plane transformer are studied at high frequency.According to the demand of a project,we put forward several optimization design of transformer winding structure,considering the condition of the given size and the shape of the core,and transformer manufacture technology.By using finite element ANSYS,simulating the optimized several optimization design of transformer,we compare the stray parameters and loss;Through electromagnetic and thermal coupling analysis,temperature rise of several designed transformer is obtained.The simulation results show that the interleaving winding structure has more average current distribution,low transformer loss,low temperature rise,and the optimization winding structure is effective and reasonable.According to the different design schemes,several transformer samples are manufactured,and the experimental system of transformer was built,through comparing the stray parameters and losses of different transformer.The results show that the optimized transformer structure meet the design requirements,and reduces the loss of the winding effectively.Based on the above work,experiment and study the different structure transformer arranged in a modular power supply,under complete condition.Comparing and analyzing the switch waveform,voltage ripple,temperature rise and so on.The experiment results prove that,under high frequency,the optimized design in this paper can effectively reduce the loss of power converter,meet the design requirements of high frequency and high power density power converter.The research on of high frequency planar transformer,can promote the development of high density power conversion technology,and has broad application prospects.
