Magnetorheological damper is a semi-active controllable damping shock absorber model,the working medium of the magnetorheological fluid is a kind of controllable liquid.Semi-active suspension with magnetorheological damper can effectively improve vehicle ride comfort and driving safety.This new type of shock absorber has many advantages,which can not only make the damping continuouly adjustable,but also have a simple structure and react quickly.But compared with the traditional shock absorber,the power loss problem is more prominent.So,how to reduce the energy consumption of the magneto rheological damper has become a key research content of the magneto rheological shock absorption technology.In order to reduce the energy loss and improve the energy saving of the magnetorheological damper,a series of studies are carried out on the basis of the traditional magneto rheological damper and the hydraulic shock absorber is studied in this paper.The main contents of the study are as follows:Firstly,the working principle of the MR damper is analyzed,the suitable working mode is selected,and the damping force model of the damper is established.Based on the 1/4 model,the mechanical model and the motion differential equation of the passive suspension and semi-active suspension are established,and the simulation model of the two kinds of suspension is built by Simulink.Secondly,according to the difference of damping coefficient between compression process and drawing process,three kinds of new energy-saving magnetorheological damper is designed.Which is reformed by combining the ordinary differential pressure type magnetorheological damper with parallel damping hole structure and one-way valve structure.It can not only meet the requirement of the adjustable range of the damping coefficient,but also reduce the power of the shock absorber.At the same time,according to the new type of MR damper,a three-dimensional fuzzy control system is designed by introducing the piston speed signal.Finally,those three new type of magnetorheological damper and the traditional structure of magnetorheological damper is simulated by Simulink software,and the results are compared with the hydraulic shock absorber.The results show that the damping effect of the three new type of magnetorheological damper although different,but are better than that of hydraulic shock absorber.The energy saving effect of magnetorheological damper is better than the traditional structure,the C type shock absorber has the best performance.
