With the rapid development of economy,the number of motor vehicles has increased significantly Motor vehicles bring convenience to people's travel,but also bring a series of problems,such as traffic congestion,traffic accidents and environmental pollution In order to solve these problems,intelligent transportation system emerges as the times require Intelligent transportation system is to use advanced computer technology,communication technology,database technology,artificial intelligence technology in transportation,to solve traffic congestion and improve the efficiency of road networkFirstly,this paper reviews the current situation and development trend of urban traffic at home and abroad,and summarizes the traffic signal control technology in saturated state The algorithms of Red-wave control of trunk line,current-limiting control of peripheral intersection and coordinated control of quasi-saturated area are proposed Finally,taking typical intersections and T-junctions as examples,the signal period,phase and phase sequence are optimized by the designed algorithm The main research work is as follows:1 Red-wave control algorithm of trunk line: Through the implementation of Red-wave control in the direction of the trunk line entering the city in the control area,with "time for space",make full use of road resources,while taking into account the coordinated control of the direction out of the city,try to ensure that the urban traffic flow "slow in and fast out" during peak hours2 Current Limiting Control Algorithm of Peripheral Intersection: By controlling the signal of the periphery intersection of the control area,the vehicles entering the control area are adjusted to make them run into the control area orderly in batches In order to effectively prevent the occurrence of congestion,the "current limiting point" should be set at the appropriate location to restrict the flow of vehicles and regulate the operation of vehicles in batches and orderly3 Quasi-saturated area coordinated control algorithm: According to the fixed timing scheme of each intersection in the sub-area during peak hours and real-time traffic flow data,the periodand phase difference are determined,and the phase time allocation method is determined to generate coordinated control scheme Through the feedback mechanism,the coordinated control scheme is quantitatively analyzed,and the quantitative basis for the generation of the next coordinated control scheme is provided...
