Single-phase grounding fault in distribution lines has the highest probability among all types of faults,and the line selection of single-phase grounding fault is a long-standing problem in the power system.However,the selection accuracy of common line selection devices is low.Therefore,researching the characteristics and line selection of single-phase grounding fault in distribution lines,improving the line selection accuracy have a great significance for improving China's power system automation level.The main content of this article can be divided into two parts.In the first part,the distribution system and its main equipment are introduced,and then the steady state characteristics,transient capacitance current,transient inductance current and grounding current are emphatically analyzed for neutral point ungrounded system and neutral point via arc suppression coil system,and a simulation model of distribution system is built to test the characteristics of phase grounding fault.The second part studies the integrated fault location method for single phase to ground fault.The working principle of line selection based on zero sequence current amplitude measure,zero sequence current phase measure,active power measure and first half wave measure is described in detail.For the neutral ungrounded system and the neutral point through arc suppression coil grounding system,the integrated line selection scheme of single-phase grounding fault is compiled and verified by simulation.
