Power distribution network as a bridge that connected to the power supply enterprises and users,plays a vital role in the whole power supply system,its safe operation directly affects the power supply reliability.With the rapid development of China's urban and rural construction,urban districts of distribution line corridors are increasingly nervous,compared with the bare wire,insulated wire to improve the reliabilit y of power supply and safety,and shorten the distance,10 kv overhead distribution lines through the insulation of transformation in recent years,the line insulation coverage can be rising rapidly,total number of line fault has significant decline.But due to the low power distribution line insulatio n configuration,easy to cause failure at the time of suffering lightning disturbance and tripping,and for 10 kV overhead insulated line,after the lightning flashover,due to the existence of the insulating layer stream power frequency arc breakdown point can only be fixed in the combustion,appear easily lightning strike.Existing lightning strike prevention measures can be divided into the dredging method and the blocking up method according to the principle,the former such as arc hardware,special hardware such as clamping post porcelain insulator to protect wires from single-line breakdown,the latter by improving the insulation level or use lightning arrester to prevent stream power frequency arc.Practice shows that lightning arrester,and the arc discharge clamping insulator hardware such as the use of lightning protection products to solve the problem of lightning strike played a role,but still can't completely avoid lightning strike.In the actual operation,some areas in recent years appeared more than the lightning protection has taken line break after lightning strike.This topic combined with the actual situation of distribution network to suffer lightning disturbance,10 kV overhead insulated wire at present problems in the practice of lightning strike,through the theoretical research and experiment validation,design developed a new type of lightning protection devices,named post insulator with zinc oxide lightning arrester inside,it has a simple installation,high reliability,free maintenance,no damage to wire,the characteristics of the net,the desired effect,in order to solve the problem of the lightning strike the distribution network overhead insulated line to provide technical and product support,the development of the lightning protection measures for power distribution lines and safe and reliable operation of power grid has positive significance.
