Study Of Fillet Weld Strength On CSR Hull

Weld factor is proposed to facilitate the design of weld size,After years of evolution,now we have weld factor specification sheet.How to verify the weld factor in CSR is safe for hull structure,it becones an urgent problem to be solved.This paper describes the sources and physical meanings of weld factor,finishes the analysis and qualitative of weld factor in CSR,then compares to the current three sets of standard and determines the main factors that affect the weld factor.By using the calculation method of weld strength,establish the calculation model of fillet weld stress,and put forward the calculation fommula of fillet weld leg height in ship structure.Puts forward the calculation method of the strength utilization factor of the fillet weld based on finite element method,including extracting weld stress from the model of finite element calculation and the strength of the weld stress standard.We take weld stress from a ship hull structure and calculate the strength utilization factor,then obtain the statistical results of utilization factor of different types of fillet weld.Finally,we verify the safety of the weld factor in the specification in the static case.
