Nowadays,with the increase in the number of motor vehicles,the demand for safe transportation and intelligent transportation is increasing rapidly,as well a huge amount of traffic data.At present,intelligent transportation research field in China is facing its development opportunities and challenges which come from the big data era.Fundamentally speaking,the challenges is that how to make sure that a huge amount of data can be quickly processed to be some clear information for guiding people to think and make decisions.Therefore,in recent years,more and more scholars and relevant departments attach great importance to the research of visualization.Based on this background,this paper studies the method of visualization in the field of transportation data,which is aiming at finding suitable solution for the visualization in traffic data,and with this solution,the huge traffic data can be easily displayed for the users.We focus on two kinds of traffic data.1)The traffic data of cars active safety warningRecent years,growing attention has been paid to active safety warning system for the vehicles whether in the domestic transport industry or abroad.We are now in a new era of the popularization of automobile and the continuous development of science and technology,it is particularly important for people to find a way to reduce traffic accidents and enhance the safety precautions with new technology.At present,the active safety warnings mainly include distance detection and warning,urban collision warning,rear end collision warning,speed limit warning and lane departure warning,etc.In this part,the object of analysis and visualization is located at the relationship between warnings and velocity,so we studied the relationship between warnings and velocity,designed suitable visual methods.For warnings data,proposed a modified method of 'visualization of cars warnings data based the message' and constructed the node-link chart based on force-directed layout.We got some assumptions about the relationship between warnings and velocity based on visualization,and finally make mining,analysis and verification by using the high utility itemsets mining algorithm.2)The traffic flow data of time-varying crossroadsThe structure of urban road is becoming more and more dense than ever before.As nodes of city road network,the intersection is not only an important part of the urban road system,but also has a great impact on traffic congestion and traffic accidents.In this part,the object of visual analysis is located at the intersection of the road,so we studied the characteristics of traffic flow data of crossroads,designed suitable visual methods.For transient data,used the visual method of 'periodic time' and constructed the bubble chart based on linear layout and radial layout.For summary data,proposed a visual method of 'traffic flow data based on time sequence queue'and constructed multi-view collaborative charts based on multiple attribute axes layout.We did some correlation analysis further between the traffic flow parameters Occ,Speed and Flow based on visualization.
