In this paper,a new type of solar liquid desiccant air conditioning system is studied.This system has the characteristics of energy saving and high indoor thermal comfort.Base on the condition of solar hot water is widely used in Shanghai area,this paper presents a new solar liquid desiccant system,which can absorb the solar radiation energy for the desiccant liquid regeneration and provide domestic hot water at the same time.The new system consists of liquid regenerator and liquid desiccant.In this paper,the design and the main parts selection of this system are been made,the solar collector used the vacuum tube,the desiccant liquid is LiCl solution,the liquid desiccant tower is internal cooling and regeneration air is outdoor air.In this paper,the heat and mass transfer during the process of liquid desiccant and the liquid regeneration has been analyzed,and the module of liquid desiccant tower and liquid regenerator tower were programmed by VB software;these programs will be applied to the TRNSYS simulation module after debugging.In order to improve the performance of the liquid desiccant tower and the liquid regenerator tower,this paper analyzed the influence of various parameters which affect the performance of the desiccant.The following conclusions can be drawn:in the desiccant process,air inlet moisture content and desiccant liquid inlet concentration effect the performance of dehumidification largely,the higher of these numeral values,the better desiccant performance;in the regeneration process,air inlet moisture content and desiccant liquid inlet temperature effect the performance of regeneration largely,the lower the moisture content and the higher inlet temperature,the better regeneration performance.In order to study the effect of solar liquid desiccant air conditioning system,a room of a residential in Shanghai area is selected to run simulation analysis.The fresh air volume of the room is 73.488m3/h by calculated;due to the volume of outdoor air dehumidification changed with outdoor hourly air humidity,so fresh air humidity is range of 7.65g/kg-10.25G/kg.TRNSYS simulation software is used to simulate the summer air conditioning period of this new solar liquid desiccant air conditioning system,and put forward the optimization suggestion for this system.The simulation results are as follows:the moisture content of the simulated date is in the range of 7.65 g/kg-10.25g/kg,the indoor comfort requirements can be reached;the average desiccant liquid regeneration concentration can reach 40%,which can lead to the conclusion that this solar liquid desiccant air conditioning system is suitable for the Shanghai area.In this paper,Airpak simulation software is used for comparison analyses the new solar liquid desiccant air conditioning system room and the room without desiccant system.Through the simulation comparison of the rooms temperature field,humidity field,PMV field and PPD field under different moisture content of the different simulation rooms,the following conclusions can be drawn:when the indoor temperature is about 26?,the relative humidity value is mostly between 60%and 55%in the new system room while the relative humidity value is between the 67.5%-72.5%in the none desiccant room;the PMV value of the new system room is between-0.5 and 0.75 while the PMV value of the non desiccant room is between 1.5 and 0.5;the PPD value of the new system room is less than 26%while the PPD of the none desiccant is around 35%.The comfortable degree of the new system room is significantly higher than that of the non desiccant room.
