Research On The Flow Measurement Method Of Gas Correlation Flowmeters

In the context of the global energy crisis,how to save energy has become an important work.As an important means of accurate measurement,flow metering shows an important effect on energy measurement and energy saving.As the main tool of flow measurement,flowmeters have many categories according to the types and characteristics of the flow.For the problem of the multiphase or complex fluid measurement,correlation flowmeters based on the theory of correlation function in advanced mathematics can solve the problem.By calculating the transit time of the upstream and downstream signals,the flow of the fluid to be measured can be calculated by other known quantities.In this paper,a new flow measurement method based on gas correlation flowmeters was proposed.In order to verify the feasibility of the method,a set of correlation flow measurement was designed.The core of the system was the computer,the Peltier-driven circuit module was controlled by the MCU and the Peltier component was operated at a certain cycle so that the gas temperature can be changed.In the correlation measuring system,the change in gas temperature was used as the signal of the noise.At the same time,the thermocouple was used to extract the temperature signal and convert it into an electrical signal.As the temperature signal was relatively weak,the system used the amplifier circuit module to amplify the temperature signal.Through the NI data acquisition card matched with the LabVIEW software,the system implemented synchronous full-cycle sampling.After the A/D conversion,the converted data was stored in the computer.To get the pure temperature signal,the system used MATLAB software to realize a filter.The correlated algorithm was also implemented by MATLAB software,the flow of the gas can be calculated by the transit time and other quantities.The experiment results showed that the new method of the flow measurement based on gas correlation flowmeters can realize the measurement of the gas flow.This method provided a new idea for flow measurement and made contributions forthe development of the correlation flowmeters.
