In recent years,earthquakes have occurred frequently in Southwest China,and landslides caused by earthquakes have caused huge property losses and casualties to the society.In the southwest mountainous area,the geological structure is complex,especially the slope rock mass with weak interbeds,which often has strong destructive force and large scale when landslides occur.Therefore,in the southwest mountainous area where earthquakes occur frequently,the stability analysis of slope under earthquake action has always been an important subject.Based on the engineering background of a rock bedding slope of a road in Ya’an area,this paper studies the slope stability with weak interlayer under earthquake.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)Through the analysis of the cause of formation,structural plane characteristics and mechanical characteristics of the weak interlayer on the slope,the influence mechanism of the weak interlayer on the slope is obtained,and the cumulative effect and triggering effect of earthquake on the slope are discussed.(2)The calculation model of bedding slope with weak interlayer is established by Flac3 D,and the influence of mechanical parameters(cohesion,internal friction angle,elastic modulus,inclination etc.)of weak interlayer on slope stability under earthquake is analyzed.The law of slope displacement changing with mechanical parameters is obtained,and the stability safety factor of slope is obtained by calculation.(3)Taking a highway slope in Ya’an mountainous area as an example,a three-dimensional numerical model of the slope is established by Flac3 D.The stress-displacement time history curve and potential slip surface of the slope at the top,waist and foot of the slope under earthquake action are obtained,and the safety factor of the slope stability is calculated.(4)According to the numerical analysis results of the slope and the actual situation of the site,it is determined that the slope is treated by the method of cutting slope and reducing load.The actual slope model after cutting slope and reducing load is established by Flac3 D,and the stress and displacement at each point of the slope and the safety factor of the overall stability of the slope are calculated,which verifies the feasibility of the slope treatment measures.
