The Case Research On Group Control Of Z Transnational Shipping Enterprise

Transnational shipping companies are in the business of sea transport worldwide,subsidiary of global coverage in major countries,branches all over the world’,s major ports.The head quarter,subsidiaries and branches of the transnational shipping company constitute a transnational business group.How to effectively manage and control all over various subsidiaries and branches in the whole world,to ensure that the group’s strategy and operation remain consistent,become the key to success for the transnational shipping company.This paper is based on the main method of case study,the transnational shipping company Z as the research object.This paper is start from the theory of transnational company and group control,analysis and study of transnational company group control model and system.By studying the unified global information management system of company Z,to clarify that transnational corporations rely on advanced internet technology and information management system for real-time group control,achieved the integration of global operations.And then specific to company Z’,s global ocean freight payment process and ocean operation purchasing management process,studies how transnational corporations use process control to effectively control the day-to-day operations of the branch business around the world.Finally studying vision,mission and values of the cultural strategic system built by company Z,to describe how transnational corporation use cultural strategy of group control to ensure the development goal and direction of the whole group.Combining with the management mode and characteristics of transnational shipping company,through a series of analysis and research group control method and problem of company Z,and then sums up some ideas and methods for transnational shipping company implementing global integration depend on the group control.for implementing transnational operation and management.This paper provides some ideas and directions for domestic shipping companies to realize global operation,to carry out real-time and effective management and control of subsidiaries and branches by relying on group control,and to realize transnational operation and management.At the same time,it can also serve as a reference for large domestic enterprises and group companies in group control of cross-border operation.
