In recent years,with the rapid development of sensing technology and artificial intelligence technology,the research and development and application of intelligent vehicles has been accelerating.Intelligent vehicles can replace human driving and improve transportation efficiency and safety,but in the process of its application,they have different operating characteristics from traditional manual vehicles,in this environment the intelligent vehicles impact on traffic flow and the interaction mechanism of traffic control and management of future has theoretical and practical significance.Based on the characteristics of intelligent vehicles,this paper constructs a continuous cellular automaton model,and discusses the typical single-lane,two-lane,dedicated lane traffic environment and traffic flow dynamics under the participation of intelligent vehicles.The influence of social traffic flow and the parameter variation law of automatic and manual mixed traffic flow were studied.The main contents of the paper are as follows:1.On the basis of the existing traffic flow simulation model,based on the basic principle of cellular automata,combined with the actual process of vehicle running speed and displacement continuity characteristics,put forward a new space of continuous and discrete time continuous cellular automata to explain and characterization of intelligent vehicles running process,so as to build more in line with the actual operation situation of road traffic flow model.2.The principle of safe distance is introduced to put forward the operating rules that are different from manual vehicles,such as reaction time,acceleration and deceleration performance,safe distance,random slowing down,etc.,to build the traffic flow model of single-lane automatic driving continuous cellular automaton.The simulation results show that the range of the change of the space between the heads of the intelligent vehicles is reduced,which can further weaken or even eliminate the traffic waves and improve the safety level.The penetration rate of intelligent vehicles can improve the road capacity and speed.The maximum traffic volume and speed can be improved by increasing the penetration rate.The maximum average traffic capacity can be increased by about 1.7 times,and the maximum average speed can be increased by about 1.4 times.3.Analyze the technical composition and relevant technical indicators of the environmental perception system of intelligent vehicles,put forward lane change rules for intelligent vehicles considering the characteristics of environmental perception technology,and construct the traffic flow model of two-lane intelligent vehicles continuous cellular automaton model.Analyze and study the influence of lane change probability under different conditions,traffic flow characteristics with different proportion of intelligent driving and traffic congestion index.Numerical simulation results show that the lane changing model considering environmental perception proposed in this paper increases the frequency of lane changing and improves the utilization rate of road resources.The increase of the proportion of self-driving vehicles can significantly improve the road capacity and average speed.The quantitative formula is adopted to describe the degree of traffic congestion.When the density is 60,with the increase of the proportion of self-driving vehicles,the proportion of traffic congestion is continuously reduced.When the proportion of self-driving vehicles is 100%,the proportion of traffic congestion is reduced from 77.53% to 55.62%.4.The traffic flow model of cellular automaton for dedicated lane in a three-lane environment is constructed to analyze the change characteristics of road traffic flow before and after the setting of dedicated lane for intelligent vehicles.The results show that: the intelligent vehicles in the dedicated lane can drive out of the dedicated lane and maintain the mode of intelligent driving all the time,which maximizes the use of the dedicated lane.In the case of 30% proportion of self-driving cars,when the traffic flow density is greater than 30,setting up the dedicated lanes for intelligent driving will be conducive to the improvement of the overall traffic capacity.
