| During the Mars exploration mission, the near-Mars communication environment will be attenuating the radio wave signals propagating between Mars orbiter and Mars lander. Therefore,it is very important to study the influence of the attenuating characteristics of the Mars channel on the propagation of radio wave.In this paper, the influence of Mars communication channel environment on radio wave propagation is studied, including the attenuation of radio wave communication channel caused by Mars ionosphere,Mars atmosphere,Mars cloud and dust.First, based on the detection data obtained from the Mars exploration missions of NASA and ESA over the past 40 years, and extract the Martian environmental parameters that affect the propagation of radio wave. Then,by comparing with the environmental parameters of near-Earth,the model of Martian ionospheric attenuation,Martian atmospheric attenuation,Martian cloud and dust attenuation on radio wave propagation is clarified, and the range of radio wave in four common frequency bands,UHF,S,X and Ka,are calculated in detail. Finally, with reference to the communication link model of the near-Earth,combined with the channel attenuating characteristics of the near-Mars,the attenuating value in the communication link model are theoretically analyzed and corrected, and a channel model suitable for the communication of the near-Mars is proposed, and the model is validated by actual detection data of NASA.This paper analyzed the influence of Mars channel attenuating characteristics on radio wave propagation, summarized the information of the near-Mars communication channel environment, established the communication channel model of the near-Mars,and simulated the range of attenuating values of common frequency bands, and provides a reference for the design of communication system and the review of communication link of Mars exploration. |
