With the rapid development of urbanization,human pursuit the high efficiency of transportation has never stopped.In recent years,we have invested so many talents and the funding of transportation to support the research on srmart transportation such as management and control of urban's transportation,traffic information services,connected vehicle environment Actively explore the program of smart transportation system which is applicable to China's transportation environment,and to enhance the level of developing smart transportation.Traffic capacity mainly depends on three core elements:infrastructure ranks,traffic volume,traffic signal control.The control technology of traffic signal is the core point of the smart transportation system,which has gradually become one of the important ways to solve traffic problems.In this paper,the next-stage traffic flow condition is predicted based on detecting the real-time parameters of traffic flow.The design of non-fixed phase and phase sequence is proposed,and the signal control and optimization algorithm is realized by combining with dynamic programming method.Firstly,the prediction algorithm of short time traffic specific parameter based on the real-time basic data detection of intersection traffic flow.The obtained basic data are processed by calculating traffic demand score to deduce the non-fixed phase and phase sequence scheme which is proposed in this paper.And the signal phase and phase sequence scheme of the current intersection is optimized and adjusted to obtain the optimal phase and phase sequence in the current optimization cycle.The dynamic programming method is combined with the optimal phase and phase sequence scheme to optimize the phase green light duration of the intersection signal,minimizes the overall delay time of the transportation system.Secondly,developing a micro-traffic simulation platform for adaptive traffic signal timing scheme.The micro traffic simulation software PTV-VISSIM is selected for the traffic simulation platform and secondary developed by Visual Studio(C#),which realizes the design of signal control module windows and the flexible embedding of signal optimization control algorithm.Finally,On the traffic simulation platform,the proposed signal control and optimization algorithm is validated by simulation experiment on XIAMEN Jinshan road and Xianyue road intersection,the optimized signal scheme of the simulated intersection has accomplished real-time signal control progress and output evaluation files of intersection signal management.By comparing the signal optimization results of traffic simulation experiment under different vehicle saturation conditions at intersections and comparing with traditional traffic control schemes,the good applicability of the proposed signal control and optimization algorithm at intersections is proved.
