Reconstruction and reinforcement of existing building structures is a new research field in the construction industry. The reinforcement of existing building structures needs to change the function of the original building structure or increase the use area, but also meet the bearing capacity requirements and normal use.Requirements and seismic fortification requirements. This paper mainly studies the reinforcement structure of the existing reinforced concrete frame structure directly modified by layer.Based on a specific engineering example, this paper begins with the study of the change of bearing capacity and seismic performance after structural layering. The traditional reinforcement method is used to increase the cross-section size of the member and the rock-filled wall to reinforce the layered structure. From the aspects of structural bearing capacity, seismic performance and failure mode, the additive structure is finally satisfied, and the more economical reinforcement method is found. The research results show that the traditional reinforcement method for increasing the section size of the member and the reinforcement of the rockfill infill wall solve the problems that the layered reconstruction structure does not meet the bearing capacity requirements and seismic performance, but the rocking infill wall reinforcement method reduces the concrete frame on the one hand. The interlayer displacement angle of the structure,on the other hand, changes the layer yielding mechanism of the structure to the overall yielding mechanism of the structure,so that the structure can meet the requirements of various specifications and its seismic performance is greatly improved.
