Heating is an important measure to ensure people's livelihood.While the scale of urban central heating system is increasing constantly,and some are enlarged at the city level,which has many problems.Although,representative people are aware of the adverse impact of the traditional heating model,and explore the new urban heating modes,but people have not formed a unified understanding of these heating systems.a model suitable for urban central heating is extremely urgent.A new urban heating mode of green,efficient and integrated needs to be explored,proposed and promoted.The main content of the paper is to put forward the proposal of the system model which is most suitable for civil heating in northern cities of China in the future,in order to arouse the thinking and discussion of this problem in the field.At first,the current status and existing problems of city central heating in north China area are summarized and studied in this paper.The causing reasons and the consequences of this status are explored and examined,pointed out that the central heating system have reached the unsustainable level.A new model of urban heating system needs to be put forward and promoted by professionals.Secondly,several other system modes that coexist with the central heating system are analyzed and differentiated,and then putting forward a proposal for the most suitable system mode of civil heating in northern cities of China in the future which is the District Central Heating.It is suggested that the radius of district heating should not exceed 1.5 km and the heating area should not exceed 1 million square meters.The thermal users in the region should have the same or similar functional characteristics,load characteristics and economic level as far as possible.Use the generator as the centralized heat source,running in the mode of "electricity determined by heat",use the waste heat of gas turbine for heating and domestic hot water supply.Thirdly,suggested forms of urban district central heating system(mainly regional heat source station)are given.Take a community in Beijing for example,the optimization process of the district heating system is introduced.And determine the optimal plan.According to the simulated building load characteristics of the residential area,five operation schemes are determined,and the operation parameters of each scheme under standard condition and annual running conditions are obtained throughsimulation calculation.From the perspective of energy and economy,determined the optimal scheme of the system.In the end,the feasibility of district central heating system is illustrated by comparing district central heating system(the optimal scheme)with decentralized heating systems.In order to facilitate users to design district heating system,the software for selecting regional heat source station equipment and comparing with decentralized heating mode is established.The initial investment and annual operation cost of district central heating system are reasonable,with less noise pollution,good thermal comfort and obvious advantages,which can be referred as the development direction of urban central heating.
