Research On The Renewal Of Buildings Around ShanShangan Guild Hall

The ShanShan gan Guild Hall is located in the old city of Kaifeng,is a key cultural relic protection unit in China.The authenticity and integrity of its historical environment are important vectors of its cultural relic value,However,the protection of cultural relics buildings and the promotion of the renewal of the surrounding cities often present a contradictory situation,especially because of the strict requirements of cultural relics protection and style control,the surrounding environment of the key cultural relics buildings in the old city even shows a continuous decline,which is exactly the situation in Xufu block where Kaifeng Shanshan-Gansu Guild Hall is located.As the guild hall type building in the cultural relics protection unit,Shanxi-Shanxi-Gansu guild hall is located in the historical block and belongs to the core area of Kaifeng Old Town.Its surrounding buildings include traditional dwellings,city-level cultural relics,historical buildings and some public buildings of Kaifeng's unique shape.The renovation and transformation of the guild hall has strong typicality and universality.This paper attempts to start with th e requirement of renovation of surrounding buildings in the conservation planning of cultural relics buildings,take the renovation of surrounding buildings of Shan-Shan-Gan Guild Hall,a representative national key cultural relics protection unit,as an example,and select the building complex of Kaifeng First Reception Hall,which has special complexity around the guild hall,as an example to illustrate the renovation.The core of this paper is to advocate the renovation and renewal of existing buildings around cultural relics protection units on the premise of following the upper protection plan after a reasonable evaluation of the status quo of existing buildings.Based on the principles of conservation,integrity and process,as many valuable existing buildings are retained as possible,so as to maintain the authenticity of historical environment around cultural relics protection units and promote the integration of cultural relics protection and district renewal.The research of this paper is mainly discussed in the following four parts:The first part-the first chapter of the paper combs the relevant cofncepts and theories of existing building renewal at home and abroad,and gives examples of three different ways of building renew al from different perspectives.It also analyses the project background of the renovation of the buildings around the Guild Hall in Shanxi,Shaanxi and Gansu provinces,and points out that there is a difficult coordination between the protection of cultural relics and the renovation of existing buildings,which paves the way for the subsequent renovation of existing buildings from the perspective of the protection of cultural relics.The second part is to study and construct the current situation evaluation system,establish the principles and methods of evaluation,and analyze the existing building types around the Guild Hall in Shanxi,Shanxi and Gansu provinces.Subsequently,according to the evaluation system,the status quo of the surrounding buildings around the Guild Hall in Shanxi,Shaanxi and Gansu was investigated and reasonably evaluated,and the types and values of the buildings were classified.The different treatment methods for the city-level cultural relics,historical buildings,general buildings and simple buildings were obtained.The third part,based on the upper protection plan,locates the renewal direction and mode of the existing buildings around the Guild Hall of Shanxi,Shaanxi and Gansu,analyses the reasonable use function,puts forward the concept of integrated protection of the surrounding existing buildings and cultural relics,and puts forward three principles of protection,integrity and process,and adopts the reserved reconstruction and continual transformation of different types of existing buildings in the block.Three renewal modes of integrated expansion are updated.The fourth part is aiming at the existing buildings around the Guild Hall in Shanxi,Shaanxi and Gansu,this paper puts forward the overall conceptual renewal design plan,analyses the spatial texture characteristics and style patterns of the master plan,and illustrates the corresponding areas of the three renewal modes.Then take the first guest house in Kaifeng on the west side of Shanxi-Shaanxi-Gansu Guild Hall as an example to explain its current situation and make a value judgment.Combining with its functional relationship with the Guild Hall,we adopt the continual transformation and renewal mode,and elaborate its renewal content.
