Permanent magnet synchronous motors have been widely used in industrial control because of their small size and high efficiency.Backstepping control method can realize the decoupling of permanent magnet synchronous motor, the design process is simple and easy to implement.Compared with the traditional method,it has better dynamic response. Therefore,it is of great significance to study the inverse method. This paper studies the backstepping control of permanent magnet synchronous motor system and its improvement strategy. This paper makes a detailed theoretical analysis of the backstepping method from two aspects of feasibility and stability, and verifies that the backstepping method can be applied to the PMSM system to obtain good dynamic performance and steady state performance.During the operation of the motor, the change of parameters of the motor has bad effects on the performance of the control strategy based on backstepping approach. The performance of backstepping control was analyzed in the case of time-varying parameters and load changes. It is concluded that the motor parameters other than the load have little effect on the control effect.A load adaptive backstepping control strategy is proposed to improve the effect of load changes on the control effect. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by Matlab/Simulink simulations with uncertain parameters and load torque disturbances. Finally, the control strategy was verified by experiments.Among them, the constant torque experiment and the given speed mutation experiment verify the feasibility and efficiency of the backstepping control. The load mutation experiments verifies that the load adaptive control method can effectively improve the control performance of the system.
