In the development plan of PBN,DME/DME navigation system is regarded as the primary backup navigation system after the failure of global satellite navigation system(GNSS).With the increasing number of DME navigation stations,the traditional method of selecting the stations will cause frequent switching of aircraft navigation stations,which will seriously affect the continuity of aircraft navigation and positioning,and will bring great security risks.Therefore,it is necessary to propose a method of navigation station selection method that can not only meet the requirements of navigation accuracy but also avoid frequent changing of stations,so as to ensure positioning accuracy and continuity.Firstly,this paper introduces the composition of DME system structure,the working frequency and DME/DME effective coverage,and propose a calculation method of ANP(Actual Navigation Performance)based on DME/DME navigation mode by the analyzing of DME/DME line of position error,tolerance influence factors and calculation method and the definition of the ANP,which is simulated and verified on Shanghai-Beijing route.Secondly,based on the coverage evaluation of DME/DME navigation signal range for wuhan-shenzhen route,an improved DME/DME station optimization method based on ANP and effective navigation distance was proposed,and the switching times of the traditional station selection method and the improved station selection method in this paper were compared on WuhanShenzhen route.The results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively reduce the number of channel changes under the premise of ensuring navigation accuracy.Finally,by analyzing the weak area of DME station’s signal coverage in wuhan-shenzhen route,taking into account factors such as DME station’s signal coverage and ANP value,the site selection planning model for the newly added DME station was constructed.Finally,the accurate site of the newly added navigation station was determined by geographical conditions.The results show that the new navigation station can reduce the dependence on the key navigation station of liling,and improve the stability and continuity of navigation.
