In recent years, strategic marine enclosure and improvement of marine equipment technology have become an inevitable trend. However, there still exists a gap compared with advanced foreign technology.Inline manifold(ILM)is one of the most widely used underwater facilities, but its installation is affected by the complexity of deep-sea environment. Therefore, aiming at the in-line installation of subsea manifolds, this paper takes the ILM,the pipelaying vessel and the submarine pipeline as an interacting whole, and provides an important basis for the development and improvement of deep-sea underwater control system. The coupling model of ILM-pipelaying vessel-pipeline in this paper consists of four main parts:the motion equation of pipelaying vessel based on three-dimensional radiation diffraction theory, the dynamic model of pipeline based on continuum mechanics theory, the hydrodynamic model of underwater production facilities based on Morrison formula, and the six-degree-of-freedom model of ship based on dynamic positioningIn this paper, the dynamic fluid-solid interaction method based on overlapping grids is used to simulate the damping of ILM under different flow velocities.According to the simulation results, the damping coefficient and the additional mass coefficient of ILM are acquired via MATLAB fitting toolbox.Based on the established coupling model, the dynamic positioning motion of the pipelaying vessel under different working conditions is simulated and analyzed. After that, time domain analysis and comparison is conducted in light of the coupling model of pipeline and the pipelaying vessel under different working conditions, and the coupling model of the pipelaying vessel, pipeline, and ILM.Based on these work, this paper carries on exploring the influence of complex sea conditions on in-line installation operation and the principle of interacation within the three coupling models, such as the coupling model of pipelaying vessel, pipeline and ILM.
