As a regional hub airport facing South Asia and Southeast Asia,Kunming airport aims to become an international aviation hub radiating south and Southeast Asia by 2030.The construction of hub airports is of great significance for promoting the development of regional economy.In recent years,the government,airports and airlines have opened a large number of international routes through the cooperation.This paper starts with the interpretation of the competitive strategy theory,and combines the analysis of the macro environment,competitive environment and market environment of Kunming airport to put forward the competitive strategy of Kunming airport.In tenns of macro environment,the location advantage of Kunming and the national "One Belt And One Road"strategy have provided conditions for Kunming airport to form a regional hub,and the local government has also promoted the enthusiasm of the airport to develop international routes through subsidies.Competition environment,with Hong Kong,Guangzhou,Chengdu,Bangkok airport,such as multi-faceted contrast,build competition matrix,searching for the advantages and disadvantages of Kunming airport:Kunming airport although has certain advantage in location,also occupies the dividend policy,but in transit hub with Guangzhou,Hong Kong and Bangkok on the construction of the airport there is still a bigger difference,mainly reflected in the network coverage,due to the coma routes density is not high,the airport transfer efficiency is low,service ability and airlines operating ability is not strong and so on.Market environment,through the analysis of domestic 2017-international transshipment data,studied from China to abroad,especially in South Asia,southeast Asia area of transit demand,market situation,the capacity of the whole market in the position in the international transit and Kunming airport,China entry-exit broad market demand,the transfer market also to have certain space,but at present mainly concentrated in places such as Hong Kong,Guangzhou,Bangkok,the formation of the above several effective competition can get delta passengers at the airport.Finally,through SWOT analysis,the competitive strategic choice is completed and the strategic implementation plan is analyzed.Kunming airport should choose the centralized strategy,make China a regional hub connecting South Asia and Southeast Asia,increase the width and depth of route network coverage,and form local advantages.At the same time,more efforts should be made to improve the transit efficiency and services so as to enhance the perception of passengers and enhance the competitiveness of local transit.
