In recent years,with the continuous development of automotive electronics technology and the improvement of living standards,the performance requirements of automotive suspension are becoming higher and higher.Based on the project of National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Fund Project(51605213),and the joint fund project of Liaoning Science and Technology Department(201602367),The characteristics and control of automobile active suspension with adjustable damping arestudied in this paper.To improve the ride comfort and handling stability of the vehicle.The specific research contents are as follows:Firstly,on the basis of the research on the characteristics and structure of the damping adjustable suspension,the model of adjustable damping suspension is established by AMESim modeling software,and the important parameters of model are identified by genetic algorithm.The mechanical characteristic experiments were designed and carried out to obtain the performance of the shock absorber and the current-damping force characteristics and the AMESim model of solenoid valve shock absorber and air spring was validated by experiments.Secondly,according to the theory of sliding mode control,taking the 1/4 skyhook system as the reference model,a sliding mode control algorithm for semi-active suspension of 1/4vehicle with fuzzy switching gain regulation is built in Matlab/Simulink software.It takes full account of the uncertainties of the sliding mode system in the control process and the advantages of fuzzy control.Based on the experimental data of current-damper force characteristics,a module for converting damper force to output current is designed.Using the input and output interface of AMESim software,the AMESim model of adjustable damping suspension with solenoid valve is imported into MATLAB/Simulink,and Co-simulation experiment of AMESim-Simulink is designed and carried out.Finally,the hardware-in-the-loop simulation experiment based on dSPACE is constructed with the help of the vehicle model built in Carsim software,which verifies the effectiveness and correctness of the sliding mode control algorithm.The simulation and experimental results show that the sliding mode control algorithm based on fuzzy switching gain can effectively improve the performance of automobile suspension.The ride comfort and handling stability of automobile during driving are also improved.
