| The Garden Expo originated in Europe and has developed rapidly since entering China in the 1990s due to its good social and economic benefits.In 1997,the China Garden Expo was founded,after 2 years,In 1999,the World Horticultural Exposition was held in China for the first time,the grand expo has promoted the accelerated development of Kunming and Yunnan Province.After that,several types and levels of garden expo were held in China,and has become an excellent opportunity to improve the urban environment and promote the city development.Although the development of the Expo has indeed brought a lot of benefits,due to various reasons,especially in China,the Expo is also facing very high-maintenance costs with a meager income after the closing of the Expo,which leading severe waste of resources.At the moment of the construction of resource-saving society,it is of practical urgency to improve the efficiency of the use of the Expo after the conference.This paper mainly uses literature review,field research and other methods to conduct in-depth analysis of domestic and international garden expo such as German Garden Show,China National Garden Expo,Jiangsu Provincial Garden Expo,also with other exhibitions such as the World Expo,such as the World Expo.I will collect the information of planning and the use of the post-conference,then sum up the successful experience of the expo with good benefits,analyze the manifestation and the reasons of the poor performance of the expo,explore the relevant factors of planning and post-conference uses from the perspective of landscape architecture.On this basis,the paper tries to propose a planning and design strategy to save resources and stimulate vitality,which realize the high-efficiency and low-consumption conversion of the collection-type park to urban public open space.This article takes the Handan Expo Park as an example.According to its current conditions,apply the strategies mentioned above to the garden expo design. |
