The impact of transportation on regional economic development has always been a key issue of economic geography.As a important material carrier of labor and production factors flow between regions,its development status is of vital importance to regional economic development.Therefore,the study on the internal characteristics and laws of the traffic network can not only reveal the development status,speed,trend,network form and spatial layout of the traffic network,but also have a very important significance for coordinating the common development of the traffic network and social economy,human activities,urban planning and so on.Located in the western part of Henan Province,Funiu Mountain belongs to the eastern extension of the Qinling Mountains and is an important part of the “Sanshan” area of Henan Province(Taihang Mountain,Funiu Mountain,Dabie Mountain).It has a special importance in the regional development and ecological construction of Henan Province.For a long time,due to the special natural geographical environment of the Funiu Mountain Area,highway traffic conditions have always been an important factor restricting the economic development of Funiu Mountain.Therefore,it is of theoretical and practical significance to study the structural characteristics and evolution rules of the highway network in Funiu Mountain Area and discuss the coordinated development of the highway network and county economy.Based on the definition of relevant core concepts,reviewing related literatures,and combing relevant research theories,this study selects Funiu Mountain Area as the research object,using the method of combining qualitative and quantitative analysis of Funiu Mountain Area 2001,2008 and 2017 three time nodes of highway network and to study the coupling coordination degree of the development level of county economy.Firstly,the highway network in Funiu Mountain Area is constructed based on the complex network theory,and the structural characteristics,evolution rules and spatial differences of the overall highway network in Funiu Mountain Area and the highway network in each county are analyzed,and the complexity index of the county road network is measured.Secondly,the entropy weight TOPSIS method was used to calculate the comprehensive score of the economic development level of each county in Funiu Mountain Area,and the spatial difference of the economic development level of each county in Funiu Mountain Area was analyzed.Finally,the coupling degree model is used to calculate the coupling degree,coordination degree and coupling degree index of the highway network complexity and economic development in Funiu Mountain Area counties.Main conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)During the research period,the development process of the road network in Funiu Mountain Area has experienced the development from provincial and county roads to the rapid development of expressways.From 2001 to 2008,the road network of Funiu Mountain Area continued to extend,and expressways began to exist from scratch.The traffic mileage and density of provincial and county roads increased rapidly and were gradually connected into a network,making the originally simple and sparse road network in Funiu Mountain Area became dense and complex.;In 2008-2017,the expressway in Funiu Mountain Area developed rapidly,and the backbone function in the road network became increasingly apparent.(2)During the research period,the road transportation network in Funiu Mountain Area developed rapidly,the network scale continued to expand,the network structure was simple to complex,the network density was sparse and dense,and the efficiency and concentration of the network continued to increase.During 2001-2017,the number of nodes in the road network increased from 48 to 210,and the number of sides increased from 114 to 590.The diameter of the road network increased from 17 to 27,and the average increased from 2.375 to 2.810.The agglomeration coefficient increased from 0.058 to 0.102.The significant changes in these parameters indicate that the scale of the road network in Funiu Mountain Area has gradually increased,from simple to complex,from sparse to dense,and the network efficiency and concentration have been continuously improved.(3)The complexity of the road traffic network in the county area of Funiu Mountain Area is quite different,and the dynamic change is fast.The spatial distribution gradually weakens from west to east and from north to south.In the road network of Funiu Mountain Area,the road network of Xixia County has the largest complexity index relative to the road network,and the stronger the support ability of the area;the road network complexity index of Ruyang County is the smallest,and the road network development level is the lowest.(4)The degree of county economic development in Funiu Mountain Area generally shows the basic characteristics of west high and low east,showing large spatial differences in geospatial space,and gradually increasing with time.The economic development level of Luanchuan County,Xixia County and Luanchuan County is relatively high,and the economic development level of Ruyang County,Lushan County and Nanzhao County is relatively low.(5)The overall coupling degree,coordination degree and coupling coordination degree of the road network in Funiu Mountain Area are at a low level and there are obvious differences between the county areas.The degree of coupling showed a trend of decreasing first and then increasing,and the degree of coordination and degree of coupling coordination showed a trend of increasing.From the perspective of spatial distribution,the coordination degree of county-level coupling in Funiu Mountain Area shows the distribution characteristics of west high and low east.Finally,according to the above research,we will strengthen the construction of expressway in Funiu Mountain Area,improve the highway traffic network,and strengthen the protection and resistance of highway network nodes with strong connectivity,influence and control,and significant importance to Funiu Mountain Area.Destructive work,improve the highway grid bureau,eliminate the phenomenon of “broken road”,improve the road grade standards for tourist scenic spots and characteristic rural tourism,optimize the industrial structure of Funiu Mountain Area,accelerate the economic transformation and development,and promote the regional economy to the high quality.Suggested policies to promote the coordinated development of county economy and road traffic in Funiu Mountain Area.
