Located at no.2 tiexiang lane,yi ’an road,xiangqiao district,chaozhou city,guangdong province,Jilue huanggong shrine is a private ancestral temple built in the qing dynasty(1895).The wood carvings left in the temple are well preserved,making it a representative chaozhou wood carvings cultural relic protection unit.But as a result of past scholars have slightly Huang Gong shrine of the historical and cultural value and attention of wood engraving process,academic survive on paint process has slightly Huang Gong temple woodcarving scores is relatively lack,the author want to combine their specialty and can collect data of slightly Huang Gong paint process and temple woodcarving decoration style of objective analysis,the hope is that this article act the role have certain effect to fill the lack of sort of lacquer technology and Jilue Huang Gong temple woodcarving style.Also to promote the traditional handicrafts of my hometown.This paper is mainly divided into four parts.The first part is a general summary of the history of painted wood carving in the Ming and Qing dynasties in chaoshan area,and a list of the existing painted wood carving sites in the Ming and Qing dynasties in chaoshan area.Through the introduction of the background of The Times,it goes back to the historical overview of huanggong temple.In the second part,the author analyzed the painting technique of Jilue huanggong temple by visiting and investigating,and in the third part,the author analyzed the wood carving decoration style of Jilue huanggong temple by collecting data and organizing on-site photos.The last part is a brief overview of the status quo of the protection of Jilue huanggong temple and some Suggestions for the protection and display of painted wood carvings in Jilue huanggong temple from the personal perspective.
