With the proposal and development of China Intelligent Manufacturing 2025,the production requirements and accuracy of all walks of life are constantly improving.In the cable manufacturing industry,wire diameter is one of the important indicators to measure the quality of wire and cable.Especially in aerospace,communications,automobile manufacturing and other industrial fields,higher requirements are put forward for the diameter accuracy of the wires and cables used.However,at present,the horizontal PTFE extruder used in wire and cable production has some defects,such as low precision,poor stability,manual adjustment and so on.Therefore,the research and design of the wire and cable production control system to determine the diameter accuracy has certain theoretical significance and application value.Aiming at the problem of delay and disturbance in cable diameter control system,this paper adopts the improved particle swarm optimization fuzzy neural network(PSO-FNN)method to improve the accuracy of cable diameter control and the automation degree of equipment.The main work is as follows:(1)The main technological process in the cable production process and the control characteristics of the cable extrusion system are analyzed.The mathematical model of the cable diameter control system is established without considering other minor factors.As the object of the later experimental simulation,the overall design scheme of the cable diameter control system is given according to the actual needs.(2)Based on the field production experience,the fuzzy neural network controller is used in the online diameter control system.The learning ability of the neural network and the fuzzy reasoning ability of the fuzzy control are used to improve the accuracy of the cable diameter in the production process and the degree of automation of the system.Considering that it may be difficult to calculate the optimal solution in the initial stage of off-line training of the fuzzy neural network,and that the convergence of the whole network may become worse when the parameters of the fuzzy neural network are not properly chosen,the connection weights and the central values of membership functions of the off-line learning stage of the fuzzy neural network are combined with the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm and BP algorithm.Initialize and optimize the width.Through simulation experiments,the effectiveness of the algorithm is verified and analyzed,and the control effect between conventional PID and fuzzy PID is compared.The experimental results show that the step response and anti-interference ability of the algorithm are obviously better than those of fuzzy PID and PID control.(3)According to the actual production demand,the structure of distributed cable diameter control system is designed.According to the function of the control system,the corresponding hardware selection,circuit design,control program,man-machine interface program and upper computer program are designed.The validation analysis of field data shows that the diameter control system based on improved PSO-FNN has a stable fluctuation of about 3.57 mm at the joint of the embryo material,and has a high accuracy of diameter control.
