| With the increasing popularity of computer simulation technology in indoor natural lighting design,more and more natural lighting simulation software has been developed.Among them,the optical simulation plug-in based on computer-aided architectural design is one of the main development trends.Although the computer light simulation plug-in has the advantage of being closely related to the architectural design process,the establishment of the digital model,materials and various parameter settings mainly depend on the building design software,and some digital information may have certain errors in the translation process.Therefore,the natural lighting simulation plug-in is questionable in terms of feasibility and reliability.Especially for complex lighting simulation space,such as indoor space with complex outdoor occlusion,indirect lighting space.Because these complex lighting simulation spaces are more common in buildings.To make light simulation plug-ins more widely used in architectural design,it is necessary to conduct feasibility and suitability studies.Through data collection and theoretical research,this study screened three commonly used natural lighting simulation plug-ins,namely DIVA,Honeybee,and Green Jiansi,through field verification,computer simulation and other research methods,from static lighting to full-year dynamic lighting.In two aspects,the feasibility and reliability of these three plug-ins in three complex light simulation environments are discussed.The research results from the feasibility of static lighting show that the accuracy of DIVA and Honeybee in static daylighting simulation is relatively good,but the accuracy of space with complex lighting port is poor under sunny conditions,the maximum error is 45%.Honeybee can have better accuracy when using the bidirectional scattering distribution function.However,it is difficult for GBSWARE to deal with the blockage of trees,and the accuracy of the interior window lighting space and the complex lighting space is also poor.The results of dynamic daylighting feasibility validation show that the accuracy of DIVA and Honeybee is poor.The maximum error of DA simulation in tree shelter space is 64%and 96%,and the maximum error of DA simulation in inner window daylighting space is 100%and 94%.For complex day lighting space,the accuracy of DIVA is relatively good,while the maximum error of Honeybee’s DA simulation is 52%.Although the feasibility of Honeybee is poor,its expansion program Honeybee[+]has better accuracy.Through the research on the applicability of three kinds of natural light simulation plug-ins in complex lighting simulation space,this study provides some suggestions for architects in the use of simulation tools in lighting design,and has a positive significance for improving the utilization rate and application scope of natural light simulation technology in architectural design. |
