Research On RMP Coil With ±8kA/650V Power Conversion System

In order to study plasma with high quality and high parameters,resonance magnetic perturbation(RMP)coils will be arranged in the vacuum chamber of HL-2M device to suppress magnetohydrodynamic instability such as boundary local mode(ELM)and resistance wall mode(RWM).The RMP power supply studied in this paper is mainly used to supply the required voltage and current to the resonance magnetic disturbance coils arranged in the vacuum chamber to suppress the magnetohydrodynamic instability of plasma.This paper designs a RMP power supply conversion system with rated output(±8k A/650V).Considering the large number of thyristors and the magnetic field interference caused by the high current eddy current in the steel rectifier cabinet,the basic topology of the main circuit is two three-phase full-controlled rectifier bridges with balanced reactor in parallel.In order to realize bidirectional power supply to load,each set of power supply consists of forward power supply and reverse power supply.The forward(reverse)power supply uses two three-phase bridge full-controlled rectifier bridges in parallel to form 12 pulses.In order to reduce the influence of harmonic current injected into the power grid and the fluctuating frequency of system output voltage on the system,two independent transformers are used in the rectifier transformer,and the phase difference of corresponding phase voltage is 30 degrees,forming a 12-phase rectifier transformer group.The full digital and phase adaptive trigger control technology with DSP as the core unit is adopted to ensure the simultaneous generation of multiple pulses.The whole system also designs the protection circuit.Finally,the software and hardware are simulated and debugged.The results show that the main circuit and control circuit designed in this paper can meet the technical requirements,and its operation effect and performance are good.
