In the development process of timing chain drive system,the experi mental is a very important part.It can get not only the friction between the guide,sprocket and chain,but also the chain tension,chain transmission noise and chain fatigue durability characteristics through the bench test.At present,there are few relatively bench tests on chains in our country.Consequently,this paper will design a silent chain drive system for rotation fatigue test bench and carry out corresponding dynamic simulation analysis.Firstly,this paper expounds the background and significance of the study,systematically expounds the development history of the chain,summarizes and analyses the research status of the chain at home and abroad,studies the reliability evaluation method,failure form and fatigue analysis theory of the silent chain,and provides a theoretical basis for the construction of the silent chain drive system for the test bench.Then,the silent chain drive system used in the test bench is designed,the design methods of the chain plate,guide plate,sprocket and the selection of the hydraulic tensioner are introduced in detail.The design of the control system,oil supply system and cooling system of the fatigue test bench are also introduced.The modeling method of the silent chain drive system is introduced,and dynamics modeling of silent chain drive system is completed.By moving the position of the driven sprocket in the software,three ideal dynamic models of the silent chain drive system are obtained,and the dynamic simulation analysis is carried out to analysis the chain running track,transmission error and tensioner plunger force,it proves that the dynamic model has stable transmission performance.Finally,the rigid-flexible coupling dynamics analysis of the silent chain drive system is carried out: the stability of the rigid-flexible coupling model is verified by the running trajectory of the flexible link.Then the stress distribution of the flexible link in the running process is analyzed,it is found that the part with high stress in the silent chain coincides with the actual fracture position of the chain through comparative analysis.The life of the flexible link is predicted by software fatigue module.The comparison of different simulation results verifies that the tension of the chain directly affects the predicted life of the link.The rigid-flexible coupling dynamic analysis method proposed in this paper can find the vulnerable parts of mechanical components and optimize them accordingly in the design process.The life prediction method is also applicable to the other mechanical components.
