As long as the rapid development of science and technology, radioactive materials have been widely used in national production and daily livings, the effective supervision and controlling to radioactive materials are deeply concerned with national security and stability, how to identify underlying radioactive materials rapidly and accurately is the first problem on radionuclides' controlling, and also the urgent problem waiting to be solved currently.Currently, approaches that widely used on detection of radionuclides, firstly count the pulse altitudes to get target spectrum, and identify the radionuclides through spectral features, which can be hardly applied at low counting rates of pulses for hardly obtaining complete spectral features,as a result, incapable to identify radionuclides accurately in time. For timely identifying whether a radionuclide exists, this paper starts with pulses from detection, proposed an approach for a radionuclide's identification based on Bayesian classifier.By building the method of choosing representative nuclear events,to choose nuclear pulses by pulse energies and pulse intervals as the existing basis of target radionuclide. And designed the consecutive Bayesian classifier to implement timely probabilistic analysis and judgement.Besides, for identifying the target radionuclide in motion, has built the pulse detecting model,to analyze the relationship between relative distances and pulse intervals. After, combined pulse energies and pulse intervals,to examine pulse samples, choosing the representative nuclear pulses, and reconstructed the decisive function,to implement probabilistic analysis and judgement timely.Different from traditional ways on radionuclides identification based on spectrum, the object of study this paper are pulses, analyzing a certain radionuclide exists or not.For verifying the feasibility of the way in this paper, simulations and experiments are implemented, results showed that the approach proposed in this paper can correctly identify the radionuclides in uniform motion, and each detecting time has reached the level of seconds.
