With the rapid development of high-tech,the structure of engine system is more and more complex,and traditional experience method has been difficult to solve some new problems.Therefore,seeking fast and accurate engine fault diagnosis technology has become a new trend in the field of automobile fault diagnosis.In this context,a fault diagnosis method which bases on twin support vector machine and a system which bases on ARM for automobile engine are proposed.Since the volume fraction of each component in the engine exhaust contains a large amount of information on the combustion process,the volume fraction of each component in the exhaust gas is different under different fault conditions.Therefore,the mechanism of the main components in automobile exhaust is analyzed firstly,and the relationship between automobile engine failure and automobile exhaust is studied.Then,the main components of the vehicle exhaust under different fault conditions is extracted as feature vectors,and the feature vectors are statistically analyzed.Next,sample training is performed,and then machine learning algorithms are used for analysis and diagnosis to identify the health status of various components of the engine.In view of the fact that the current intelligent engine diagnosis methods are carried out in a static mode with a fixed speed,the situation of variable speed dynamic detection cannot be realized,so we collect relevant data in a dynamic mode.The automobile engine fault diagnosis method of the twin support vector machine is introduced for the first time.The method is compared with the original methods such as neural network and support vector machine.The results show that the new method has better accuracy.To solve these problems,the project designs a hardware system based onARM development board embedded in Linux operating system.Using Qt Creator software platform,the support vector machine algorithm is embedded into ARM Linux system to realize fault diagnosis of automobile engine.The ideal experimental results are obtained through many experiments,and the stability and reliability of the designed system are verified.
