With the economic growth and rising demands for electricity in recent years increasingly,humans need to utilize renewable energy to consider both economical efficiency and reducing carbon emissions.Wind energy has become the best choice.With the development of electrical power system,the structure of modern power system has become very complex,and the factors that affect the safe operation of power grid have increased day by day.At present,the large-scale wind power incorporating into the grid has brought a serious problem to the existing grid combination technology: the impact of wind power merging into the grid on the existing power system,including: stability,safety and reliability.Stability is crucial because static stability and dynamic stability will limit the normal operation of the power system after wind power is connected to the network.How to improve the stability of wind power grid system has become one of the hot spots in the field of electric power research throughout the world.This paper first studies and analyzes the basic theory of the wind power generation system,introduces the mathematical model of the power generation system,and simulates the MATLAB/Simulink model of the selected dual-feed asynchronous power generation system.Based on the wind farm model of the dual-feed unit,a corresponding mathematical model is established for each different structures of wind power units,and studied its internal control methods.Secondly,the improved continuous flow algorithm is obtained by improving the length and prediction link.Through the example of IEEE39 node,the voltage characteristics and stability of the wind power system incorporated into the power grid are simulated.The simulation results show that when the system reaches the limit load,the load margin of the system will be reduced,but the channel of the wind field has no obvious effect on the unstable area.Finally,the related theoretical knowledge of the Unified Power Flow Controller(UPFC)is introduced,and whether UPFC can maintain voltage stability is verified.By establishing the MATLAB/Simulink model,the power system power flow controller is simulated.The simulation results show that it can effectively control the parameters of the power system,and then control the power flow and improve the stability of the system.
