The Research Of Shipping Industry Chain Profit Distribution Based On Game Theory

With the rapid development of economic globalization and the growing demand of world trade,container transportation as a derived demand of international trade has also experienced a process of rapid development.It is well known that container transportation is safe,flexible,fast,and can provide door-to-door transportation,so it has developed into one of the main forms of transportation for international trade in terms of these advantages.However,since the global financial crisis in 2008,with the slowdown in global economic growth and world trade shrink,container shipping market is still struggling at the bottom,coupled with the trend of large ships,causing serious excess capacity container transport and continuously declining tariff.Therefore,in this case,more and more shipping enterprises adopt vertical and horizontal alliance strategy to cope with the challenge of market,hoping to reduce risk,increase revenue and expand market share.So,profit distribution is becoming the core issue which has effect on the forming and stable and healthy development of shipping industry chain.This paper tries to consider the problems of profit distribution in the shipping industry chain by the way of building industry chain.First,this paper summarizes the research background and significance,introduces the domestic and foreign research present situation of enterprise profit distribution problems from three aspects of industry chain,cooperative alliance and supply chain,and the paper’s research methods.Then,the paper analyses the construction definition of shipping industry chain,main bodies of shipping industry chain and their relationship,the characteristics of shipping industry chain.On basis of this,the paper analyses the profit distribution mechanism of shipping industry chain,including the significance of profit distribution problems,basic principal and influence factor of profit distribution in the chain,thus making preparations for building the mathematical model of profit distribution problem.Furthermore,I use Stackelberg model to analyze the game behavior of shipping industry chain’s member enterprises,ascertain the interests’ distribution mode of member enterprises on the chain,and then,use the theory of cooperative game to establish the profit distribution model based on the Shapley value method.Based on this model,considering the differences in shipping industry chain profit contribution by different member enterprises in terms of different influence factors,I introduce four influence factors of profit distribution including market position,investment,effort and risk to improve the model,making the result more objective and reasonable.Finally,this paper uses an example to make case analysis of the improved model.By comparing the results of this example,it shows that the improved Shapley value model is more scientific and reasonable.
