Transformer is one of the most important components of power system.Distribution transformer with iron-based amorphous metal core is an energy efficient transformer.Core loss from that type of transformer is approximately 25-30% less than conventional type of cold rolled grain oriented silicon steel core(CRGO),namely amorphous core can slash the no-load losses by up to 70% and make possible to build very high efficiency distribution transformer.Therefore,it is very important to study the loss and magnetization characteristics of amorphous alloy strips and core models.Amorphous alloy core is the core component of amorphous alloy transformer.Simulating and measuring the loss and magnetization characteristics of amorphous alloy transformer under different operating conditions is of great significance to the research of amorphous alloy transformer.In this article,on the basis of fully studying the measurement methods of magnetic properties of amorphous alloys,the magnetization and loss characteristics of amorphous alloy strip and core model under different excitations were systematically studied,and the excitation current of amorphous alloy under different working conditions was calculated and simulated.(1)High precision power analyzer,signal generator and sound level meter were used to build a measuring platform for magnetic properties of amorphous alloys which can generate arbitrary excitation.(2)To study the electromagnetic characteristics of amorphous alloy transformers,several core models of product-grade amorphous alloy transformer were designed and manufactured according to the standard process of actual power transformer core.The magnetic properties and loss characteristics of the core model under different working conditions are experimentally analyzed.And the similarities and differences between the Amorphous alloy strip and silicon steel sheet of the electromagnetic characteristics under different excitations were studied.(3)Based on Magnet software,the electromagnetic characteristics and loss characteristics of single amorphous alloy model and amorphous alloy transformer equivalent scaling model are simulated and calculated.
