Centrifugal fans are an indispensable fluid machine in modern life and production,and one of the most important electrical equipment in power plants.Therefore,in the increasingly serious energy crisis,it is necessary to study the internal flow of the centrifugal fan impeller and to modify the centrifugal fan impeller to improve the overall performance of the centrifugal fan and meet the requirements of energy saving and emission reduction.This paper describes in detail the current methods of centrifugal fan volute reconstruction and centrifugal fan impeller transformation.The 2378-AZ-842-1 double suction centrifugal fan is taken as the research object,and the original centrifugal fan is simulated by numerical simulation method.The rationality of the original centrifugal fan was verified by comparing the sample parameters with the simulation results.After trying a variety of new centrifugal fan runner reform schemes,a short blade is added at the inlet of the centrifugal fan impeller runner,and the rear disc of the centrifugal fan is chamfered to improve the flow condition in the centrifugal fan runner.Increase the efficiency of the centrifugal fan and improve the overall performance of the centrifugal fan.The research results show that: 1)the original centrifugal fan model established in this paper is reasonable;2)chamfering design for the low-speed region of the original centrifugal fan can improve the efficiency of the centrifugal fan;3)in the centrifugal fan impeller The entrance to the first-class road is 6 from the suction side.The position of adding a short blade with a length of 27.9% of long blade length can destroy the secondary flow vortex in the impeller flow passage,delay the occurrence of jet-wake phenomenon,and improve the overall performance of the centrifugal fan;4)Centrifugation after transformation Compared with the original centrifugal fan impeller,the flow loss of the fan is reduced,the internal efficiency is obviously improved,the efficiency is increased by 2.8%,and the transformation plan is reasonable.
