The volatility of wind resources determines the instability of the active output of wind farms.With the continuous expansion of the scale of wind farms and the gradual increase of wind power penetration rate,the large-capacity wind power access brings many challenges to the dispatching and stability of the power grid,which leads to a large number of wind power abandonment problems.Compressed air energy storage has the advantages of large storage capacity and long working life.which is one of the most potential development directions of large-capacity energy storage systems in the future.In this paper,the control and modeling simulation of the compressed air energy storage system for smoothing the power fluctuation of wind power output is studied,which is of great significance for solving the problem of wind power consumption.Firstly,this paper studies the model of compressed air energy storage system and the model of doubly-fed wind turbine.The simulation model of compressed air energy storage system is built and the thermal characteristics of the model are analyzed.Secondly,from the perspective of grid power dispatching command,the power stabilizing control strategy of the wind-storage combined system is proposed to make the compressed air energy storage and the wind power system be cooperatively controlled,so that the compressed air energy storage system can operate under the optimal working condition.Based on the analysis of power stabilization strategy,the maximum efficiency tracking control strategy of compressed air energy storage system is designed.The main idea of this control strategy is to adjust the speed of permanent magnet synchronous motor under the constraint condition of compressed air energy storage system to make compression efficiency and expansion efficiency be maintained near the point of maximum efficiency.Finally,a 15MW small-scale wind-storage combined integrated system simulation model was built to simulate the active output characteristic curve of the wind power grid connection when the compressed air energy storage is cut-out and input.The simulation results show the feasibility of the proposed wind-storage combined system control strategy.
