China is in the high-speed development period of UHV power grid,and the scale of the power grid is expanding.The large power blackout accident has caused great loss to the national economy,which seriously threatens the operation order of the modern society.In view of the previous simulation model is single sandpile model,and the power system is actually composed of multiple regional power grids.In order to research the characteristics of large blackout accident in current regional interconnected power grid,it is necessary to find a simulation model which is consistent with the actual state of the power system.Therefore,a modeling method using a multi-sandpile model to simulate interconnected power grid is presented,and related applications are carried out based on the model.The main research contents are as follows.Firstly,based on single sandpile model,the power system blackout mechanism model based on multi-sandpile is established by the analogy of regional interconnected power grid and multi-sandpile.Taking IEEE 118 node power grid as an example,the feasibility of the model is verified.Secondly,two applications of multi-sandpile model are carried out.On the one hand,the research of interconnected power grid blackout distribution law based on multi-sandpile model is completed.Compared with perturbation condition,the power law characteristics of interconnected power grid blackout data are weaker under random large disturbance.On the other hand,the research on tie line fault simulation and application of control measures of interconnected power grid based on multi-sandpile model is completed.After adding control measures,the impact of the tie line fault on the interconnected power grid has been improved.Finally,a partition scheme based on improved GN splitting algorithm is presented.The original GN splitting algorithm and the improved GN splitting algorithm is applied to study on partition operation of GS power grid respectively,and the simulation experiments of the GS power grid after two partition schemes are carried out in multi-sandpile model.The simulation results show that partition scheme based on the improved GN splitting algorithm is more capable of satisfying actual operation stability of the power grid,which is more feasible.
