Expressions Of Regional Culture In Urban Park Landscape Design

With the acceleration of urban construction,the urban landscape showing regional cultural characteristics is relatively lacking.The urban landscape is the soul of a city,carrying historical civilization and expressing the unique regional culture of the city.The urban park is an important part of the urban landscape,and an important place for citizens’ leisure,entertainment and social interaction.It not only provides people with space for recreational activities and exchanges,but also reflects the cultural quality of the city.Then,how to embody regional culture in urban park landscape design is a difficult problem for designers.This paper is based on such a development background,combined with Zhengzhou’s regional characteristics,history and culture,social and economic three aspects,in the development of the Central Plains region,to find out a feasible plan for urban park transformation.Through the transformation of plant allocation,facility sketches,sculpture,water body and road pavement in the park,the landscape environment in the park is transformed in a green and ecological way;the design method of landscape transformation in Zhengzhou People’s Park is explored by inheriting and developing the design principles of regional traditional culture,and the specific design scheme is finally put forward.
