Home load identification and electricity monitoring can not only realize refined measurement and management of household electricity,but also optimize electricity behavior and protect household safety according to the power consumption control strategy.The traditional load identification method adopts the intrusive monitoring technique,which is costly and complicated to implement.On the contrary,the non-intrusive home load identification installation and maintenance costs are low,and it can be deployed on a large scale and suitable for online monitoring.Firstly,this paper designed an experimental platform for non-intrusive home load identification for the problems of the low recognition rate of non-intrusive household load and the lack of load identification algorithm verification.The platform adopted the modular design idea,and designed the signal acquisition module,the load identification module and the power supply module separately.The signal acquisition module consisted of a single-phase metering chip and a voltage and current sampling peripheral circuit,which can measure the household current and voltage.The load identification module was composed of a microprocessor,a WIFI module,a WIFI router and a local server,where load identification algorithms can be written and verified and power data can be stored.Then,this paper extracted the steady-state characteristic parameters of some common household loads,and established a database for load identification.An event detection algorithm based on a total active power change threshold was proposed to detect load start-stop event and load status change event.At the same time,the load identification algorithm combined with KNN algorithm and cascade filtering was used to realize the effective identification of the load.In addition,this paper established a MySQL database for storing and managing the power consumption data,and built the communication model between client and server based on TCP/IP protocol,and designed the main interface,the energy data display interface and the load on-off information query interface of the experimental platform.Finally,this paper used the established non-intrusive home load identification experimental platform to verify the proposed load identification algorithm,which was used to monitor the common household loads such as rice cooker,incandescent lamp,fluorescent lamp,induction cooker,humidifier and so on.The experimental results showed that the experimental platform can monitor the simulated household load electricity consumption in real time,and identify accurately the on-off situation of the household load.The feasibility and correctness of the design was verified.
