Basin insulators are key components in UHV switchgear(GIS or H-GIS),and their performance directly determines the insulation performance and operational reliability of the switchgear. There are many factors that affect the final performance of the basin insulator, and temperature control of the epoxy resin during curing is particularly important. This paper mainly analyzes the influence of different oven structures on the temperature field during the curing process of epoxy resin. At the same time, the mold is optimized for the problem of insufficient temperature control during the curing process of the oven. The specific research contents are as follows:(1)According to the existing oven structure, the existing oven is analyzed for the insufficient temperature distribution during the curing process of the epoxy resin, and the structure of the oven is optimized according to the shortage.(2)Models such as ovens, molds, and insulators are drawn one by one through Solid Works software. The comsol finite element analysis software is used to determine the temperature field distribution of the insulator during the curing process of the epoxy resin in the existing oven, and to determine the fan position and the influence of the number of fans on the temperature field distribution during the curing process of the epoxy resin.Oven structure.(3)For the above analysis,a new type of oven was used to test the insulation. And through the test of the incoming strain of the new and existing insulators in the existing oven, the corresponding conclusions are drawn.(4)After determining the structure of the new oven, the temperature distribution during the curing process of the epoxy resin is more precisely controlled by designing a self-heating mold.(5)It is verified by simulation that the temperature distribution of the insulator using the self-heating mold can achieve the desired effect.
