Reducing energy consumption during drying is one of the key problems in the field of drying.The purpose of solar drying of alfalfa is to reduce the consumption of conventional energy,and the relationship between its energy consumption and drying process can provide a basis for improving the quality of dry products,reducing costs,and improving its market competitiveness.The existing solar drying experiment equipment of alfalfa was improved to keep the drying temperature and wind speed constant.The energy consumption,drying rate and time required for drying under different single factors are measured as follows:1.Improve the design of the current solar drying experimental equipment of alfalfa,so that the drying temperature remains constant,while the drying temperature and drying wind speed can remain basically unchanged for a long time at a certain value.2.To study the effects of thermal temperature and wind speed on drying rate and energy consumption using improved solar drying device.Using Excel,the graph and column diagram were drawn by MATLAB,and the change of thermal wind temperature and thermal wind speed over time and the relationship between two factors and drying energy consumption were analyzed.3.A secondary regression model was established,and the main and secondary factors influencing energy consumption of alfalfa were hot wind temperature and hot wind wind speed.The best technological parameters for solar drying of alfalfa were determined by three-dimensional picture.
