The high-voltage isolating switch electrical contact is one of the important conductor materials of the substation. The electrical contact part of the electric contact is invalid due to friction caused by friction, corrosion, ash, etc.,which is harmful to the safe and stable operation of the power grid. Therefore,it is one of the research focuses of this topic to clarify the corrosion behavior of conductor materials in substation equipment and how to protect it.In this paper, the outdoor high-voltage isolating switch electrical contact is the main research object, using metallographic microscope, field emission electron microscope, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy?EDS?,scanning electron microscope?SEM?,salt spray test chamber,Vickers hardness tester, electricity Test methods and characterization methods such as chemistries, explore the corrosion behavior of high-voltage isolating switch contacts Cu/Ag in simulated acid rain environment and Ag in Na2S solution; At the same time,in order to improve the protection ability of the switch,a new preparation technology-powder metallurgy method was introduced to prepare the high-voltage isolating switch electrical contacts. The morphology, bonding force, corrosion resistance, sulfur resistance and hardness of the plated contacts and powder metallurgy contacts of the manufacturer 1 were compared. The research shows that the shape of corrosion products of silver in the acid rain environment is round, and the self-corrosion potential is shifted left and then right, and the self-corrosion current density first decreases and then increases,The AC impedance capacitive arc radius increases first and then decreases,Rp also shows a trend of increasing first and then decreasing,it is proved that the corrosion resistance of Ag in the acid rain environment is enhanced and weakened. The corrosion products of Cu in the acid rain environment are flocculent. The main product is a mixture of CuO and Cu2O.The self-corrosion potential is positively shifted and then shifted negatively. The self-corrosion current density first increases and then decreases, and there is galvanic corrosion in the later stage of corrosion. The radius of the AC impedance capacitive arc gradually increases, indicating that the corrosion products protect the copper to a certain extent. It can be proved that the corrosion resistance of Cu in the acid rain environment is first weakened, then enhanced and then weakened. When Ag is in Na2S solution, the corrosion products are discontinuous amorphous clusters. The self-corrosion potential of Ag surface is negatively shifted, and the self-corrosion current density decreases first and then increases, indicating that the corrosion resistance of Ag in sodium sulfide solution is First increase and then weaken. The AC impedance capacitive reactance arc is decreasing continuously, and Rp and Rt show a trend of increasing first and then decreasing, which indicates that the protective effect of the rust layer on Ag surface is enhanced first and then weakened.Manufacturer 1 electroplated silver and powder metallurgy silver performance comparison, electroplating silver and powder metallurgy silver have reached the corresponding national standards in terms of corrosion resistance, sulfur resistance and bonding strength, respectively.Although powder metallurgy silver has certain disadvantages in terms of corrosion resistance,it can meet the working condition requirements, and at the same time, the hardness is much higher than that of electroplating silver, indicating that powder metallurgy preparation of contacts is feasible.
