With the development of Chinese advanced manufacturing technology,it is particularly important to quickly and accurately measure the products.As a highprecision measuring instrument,CMM is widely used in various complex measurement environments.Therefore,in order to solve the problem of automatically generating the measurement path planning of the CMM based on the geometric information provided by the CAD model,this paper developed a software system for the path planning of the CMM based on the CAD model.The system is based on CAD model offline programming to improve the automation of the measurement system,sampling quality and system measurement results.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:1.The CMM path planning system and working process based on CAD model are analyzed.Through the analysis of each part of the content,the overall system plan based on the CAD/CMM conversion interface,the acquisition of measurement tasks,the number and the distribution of the measurement points of the measurement surface and the optimal measurement path are determined.The human-computer interaction interface of CMM path planning based on Visual Studio 2010,used OpenCasCade to build the environment of 3D model redraw,is developed;2.The number and the distribution strategy of measurement points.First,the reading of the CAD model is studied,which includes data reading,model redrawing and geometric topology information reading.Finally,the number and the distribution strategy of general plane,cylindrical conical surface and surface are studied.3.Research on measurement point path planning.The measurement point path planning based on ant colony algorithm is designed,including the basic principle,process and characteristics of ant colony algorithm,and a set of most suitable parameters is obtained by applying experiments.4.A lot of experimental data simulation is carried out.The optimal path obtained by the ant colony algorithm is compared with the simulated annealing algorithm.Finally,the correctness of the algorithm and the effectiveness and feasibility of the system are verified.
