Development Of Radioactive Aerosol Monitor Calibration Device

More and more radioactive aerosols especially radioactive aerosols artificial were produced with the rapid development of nuclear science and nuclear industry.During the runtime of nuclear facility,the activity and species of radioactive aerosols can provide important reference interest for judging the operating state of nuclear facilities;so that radioactive aerosol monitor plays an irreplaceable role in ensuring the safe operation of nuclear facilities.Certainly,high requirements for accurate measurement of radioactive aerosols are presented.But mostly the calibration of the radioactive aerosol monitor is the probe part,the sampling efficiency of aerosol monitor and interception efficiency of filter paper are ignored.The results don't have sufficient accurate measurement efficiency and measurement accuracy.Therefore,it is necessary to develop an aerosol monitor calibration device which can directly test the performance of aerosol monitor to calibrate and verificate aerosol monitor accurately.According to the principle of radioactive aerosol monitor,a set of radioactive aerosol calibration device and a set of aerosol generator were constructed.Radioactive aerosols were produced by aerosol generator and were measured by the radioactive aerosol monitor after through the radioactive aerosol calibration device,the results were comparing with the datas obtained by direct sampling to calibrate the radioactive aerosol monitor.The feasibility of calibrating radioactive aerosol monitor was demonstrated through experiments by the calibration device,the results laid a technical foundation for the calibration of radioactive aerosol detection device.
