In recent years,along with the continual demand for energy from the industrialization process and the energy supply crisis,the global energy crisis and environmental pollution have become increasingly serious.In order to improve this situation,the development of new energy sources such as solar energy has become one of the necessary measures to solve the energy shortage,and solar energy is considered to be one of the most promising energy sources due to its large reserves and pollution free.However,the independent solar thermal power generation technology has high volatility and low energy conversion efficiency,and the conventional solar power station without thermal energy storage system generates electricity discontinuously.Therefore,this paper studies the integration characteristics of integrated solar combined cycle system(ISCC)deeply and proposes a new system to optimize the performance of ISCC system.The details are as follows:Under the condition of considering the temperature limit of exhaust gas of heat recovery steam generator,the characteristics of ISCC system on a typical summer day and the whole year with different solar integration methods based on the same solar tower are studied.ISCCl,which integrates solar energy into the topping cycle saves more fuels,and has higher solar-to-electricity efficiency in the months of the high direct normal irradiation and ambient temperature,while ISCC2,which integrates solar energy into the high-pressure evaporation of the bottoming cycle,has higher annual power output and higher solar-to-electricity efficiency in the other months.In the independent solar thermal power plant and non-storage solar power station,there are some problems such as unstable solar energy resources,inadequate utilization and discontinuous power generation.Based on these problems,this paper proposes a new integrated solar combined cycle integrated with thermal energy storage and studies the thermal performance and economic performance of the system under different solar energy multiples and heat storage times.The results show that the system relies on a high-efficiency combined cycle and the energy storage system,the heat buffer is realized,the power output is more stable,the solar power generation cost is reduced,and both the solar energy resource utilization rate and solar-to-electricity efficiency are improved.The superiority of the integrated solar combined cycle power plant with energy storage is obvious.
