There are many problems in the operation of coal-fired boilers in modern large power stations.Most of them caused by non-uniform combustion in the furnace,directly influences the economic and safe operation of coal-fired boilers.One source of non-uniform combustion is different resistance of pipeline which convey coal/air flow to the furnace.Pipelines connect the exit of the pulverizer to the individual burners,which are located at the furnace.Each pipelines layout is different due to the location of devices in the plants,and result in different resistance.At present,for the phenomenon of uneven powder flow between powder feeding pipes,a common adjustment method is to install an adjusting device on the powder feeding pipe to make the resistance of each powder feeding pipe similar to each other by increasing or decreasing the pipe resistance.This method of installing the adjusting device on the powder feeding pipe plays a certain role in regulating the flow of the powder in the pipe.However,due to the uneven content of the wind powder in each powder feeding pipe,the powder outlet of the coal mill has already caused.Therefore,this does not fundamentally solve the problem of uneven flow of powder.In order to fundamentally solve the problem of uneven powder distribution due to the different resistances of the various powder feeding pipes in coal-fired power plants,this paper proposes and designs a new method of installing an equalizer in the pulverizer outlet,In the coal mill outlet that is balanced distribution adjustment.The numerical simulation method was used to simulate the air-coal equalization device under different conditions,and the air-powder balance distribution device at the exit of pulverizer was used to adjust the velocity and concentration of the air-powder two-phase flow.
