Product quality and cost are the core factors that determine the market.Under the premise of achieving product quality performance,optimizing its cost can maximize the economic benefits of the product technology.Therefore,this paper is based on the idea of improving product quality and cost optimization.Tolerance design in mechanical product design is the main line,and parallel tolerance optimization and process route decision-making are studied.The paper first analyzes the effect of part tolerance accuracy on product performance.Technically elaborated the relationship between tolerance and cost,highlights the importance of tolerance design.Starting with the technical theory of parallel tolerance design,study and derivation of dimensional chain,cost-tolerance function and quality loss.It discusses the feasibility of using a cost-tolerance model based on a variable manufacturing environment as a process cost function combined with quality loss.And it introduces the unconventional constraint of the tolerance optimization factor.Determined to target total processing cost and total mass loss,Parallel tolerance mathematical model with constraints of assembly function requirements,economical machining accuracy,and tolerance optimization factors,selecting the particle swarm algorithm to solve the model.A comparative analysis of the PSO algorithm's performance for tolerance optimization.Analyzed the problem that the condition matching between the process route and manufacturing unit in the existing CAPP software is not high.In order to further improve the efficiency of concurrent design,This paper proposes the perspective of applying fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to optimize the process route at the macro level.In turn,improve parallel design efficiency at the source.Therefore,Tolerance design ensures product accuracy and quality from design.Process route decision-making optimizes manufacturing costs.Both sides apply concurrently,So as to improve product cost performance,Achieve maximum technical economic benefits.
