With the comprehensive construction of China's smart grid and the advancement of the national“Belt and Road”strategy, more and more smart meters will be installed in moist and hot areas where product failure is prone to occur.Study on accurate evaluation of reliability of smart meters in moist and hot areas is of great significance for the scientific setting of the rotation period of smart meter and the enhancement of environmental adaptability of smart meter.Based on the theory of Accelerated Environmental Testing(AET),this paper studies the reliability evaluation method of smart meters in moist and hot areas.Aiming at the problem of long reliability evaluation cycle and high test cost, this paper optimizes the reliability evaluation method based on Maximum Likelihood Method(MLE).It has been verified that this method can effectively shorten the test period and reduce the test cost;Aiming at the problem of the lack of regional targeting, this paper analyzes actual meteorological data in moist and hot areas taking Guangzhou area as an example and counts the operation failure of smart meters in this areas. And then, based on the failure mechanism analysis of smart meter under hygrothermal coupling stress conditions, this paper optimizes the AET test scheme of the smart meter.Experiment shows that this method has good acceleration performance;Aiming at the problem of the overdependence on failure sata of smart meters,Markov chain Monte Carlo(MCMC)simulation and linear sampling algorithm are synthetically used to constructe a reliability evaluation method using performance degradation data without failure data, and the validity of this method is verified.
