As an emerging detection method,Unmanned Aerial Vehicle remote sensing has the advantages of flexibility, low cost and low risk. However, most of them still use slit-based push-room method to obtain spectral images. To meet high light flux, portable, and motion detection needs, this paper mainly studies and designs snapshot spectral imaging system for unmanned aerial vehicle based on division of field.First, for various snapshot spectral imaging techniques that directly capture images and spectra, combined with Unmanned Aerial Vehicle remote sensing requirements, research on snapshot spectral imaging technology based on division of field is determined. The working principle of unmanned Aerial Vehicle remote sensing and snapshot spectral imaging system based on image mapper for unmanned Aerial Vehicle are explained and the point spread function of the system is derived from the perspective of the optical transfer function. Then, combined with the structural characteristics and index requirements of the system, the parameters such as the number of image mapper sub-mirrors,focal length, field of view and system F number are determined. Then, combined with the above technical indicators, snapshot spectral imaging system for unmanned aerial vehicle based on image mapper is analyzed and designed.Based on the theoretical analysis of the image mapper, its structural parameters is determined.Combined with telescopic objective, image mapper, collimating lens, and dispersive element, the system with operation wavelength range from 400 nm to 700 nm,focal length of 25mm,and spectral resolution of 12.5nm is designed. At the same time, for the same technical indicators, snapshot spectral imaging system for unmanned aerial vehicle based on micro-lens array is analyzed and designed, and the advantages and disadvantages of the two schemes are compared and analyzed. Finally, the engineered image-based mapper-based UAV-based snapshot spectral imaging system was engineered which included tolerances, thermal differences, and stray light analysis. The snapshot spectral imaging system which is designed and researched is compact, with good image quality in the visible light range. It can be applied to the UAV remote sensing platform to monitor the changes of the ecological environment.
